The German Pavilion is in need of a business style office outfit for the Director, the Deputy Directors and the office personnel, in detail: Assistants to the Director, Protocol, Press and Culture Department and Chauffeurs (up to 43 persons).

Therefore we are looking for an outstanding but also formal design. We picture an outfit that symbolizes group membership/corporate identity on the one hand and is representative to the public, e.g. VIP guests, on the other. The suits should have characteristics of a uniform as such, however it should also be elegant and posh. The main point for our hostess-uniforms was to distinguish the personnel from the visitors. Therefore signal colors have been used. This is not needed for the new office outfits. Native colors should be combined with the signal color of the hostess-uniforms, so to have recurring orange elements.

Additionally the “balancity” logo should be integrated. The overall impression should be that of a business suit with typical recognizable elements that can be identified with the German Pavilion. Although there are no special requirements, however tenderers should specify the climate-worthiness of the fabric to be used.

Tenderers should hand in the following documents in English or German:

• Short company profile including an overview of former designs

• At least three different designs for male and female uniform sets each

• Price quote

• Timeframe of production and delivery

Further documents might be necessary depending on EXPO organiser requirements. Please note that accreditation procedures take some days time. The contracting entity will award the contract as soon as possible.
