German restaurant

German food is an essential part of any German contribution to a World Fair – just as German-made cars are. So the German Pavilion is having a restaurant on the ground floor, providing a taste of German cuisine – from fish dishes from Frisia to the Rhineland’s Sauerbraten right through to Bavaria’s Schweinshaxe – for roughly 450 guests at a time. German beer and wine will also be on offer of course!

In summer 2008, Angerer & Obermayr Messegastronomie of Munich won the Germany-wide tender to run the restaurant. The company has been involved in innumerable EXPOs and has drawn on its experience not only for the meals and drinks but also when it comes to design aspects and recruitment of staff.
