Dear friends and partners of balancity,

It’s not just the German Pavilion that has recently taken more shape; the EXPO team has also grown significantly. As early as February 2010, colleagues from the Pavilion management, arts, press and protocol departments moved into their offices. All hostesses and drivers as well as on-site engineers have also moved into the new premises. Our newsreel shows the experience of their first visit to the EXPO grounds. About 200 members of the press were allowed an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes in Shanghai at the end of March 2010. Under “News & Events” you can read how the press conferences in Berlin, Beijing and Shanghai were received.
 
Between February and April 2010 the final preparations on the Pavilion site were in full swing. The restaurant was fitted out, and EXPO gastronome Obermayr has been on site for weeks. At balancity, designers put their finishing touches to the exhibits. Our newsreel shows, for example, exhibits being collected for the “Depot” in Stuttgart for shipment to Shanghai.
